Held on Saturday, October 11, the event celebrated more than just the unveiling of a park, it was a celebration of community, connection, and legacy.
With tennis and pickleball courts, a multi-sport court, a soccer pitch, and a fully accessible playground, the park offers something for everyone.
It’s a place for early morning dog walks, weekend games, evening strolls, and spontaneous playdates, all nestled within native landscaping that enhances the area’s natural beauty and supports biodiversity.

This park is named in memory of Adam Elliott, son of Scott and Lorie Elliott of The Sarjeant Group.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Elliott family, alongside Town officials, community members, and Midhurst Valley builders, came together to dedicate the park in Adam’s name. His spirit, described by loved ones as warm, kind, and full of life, lives on through this space that now connects and energises the community he once called home.
As part of the tribute, Ward Councillor Anita Moore also announced the naming of a new trail, the Adam Elliott Trail, connecting key paths through the Midhurst area. As Councillor Moore shared, “The Adam Elliott Trail will connect the people and places within this community… and serve as both a pathway and a lasting reminder of Adam’s love for the outdoors.”

To mark the occasion, residents were invited to a Harvest Fest hosted in the new park, a day filled with BBQs, family activities, music, and home tours. Homeowners had the chance to connect with neighbours, while prospective buyers explored the community and its newest amenities.
From delicious food to the ceremonial ribbon cutting and an official plaque reveal, the event was a beautiful reminder of what makes Midhurst Valley special, its people.
