Model Homes Preview Opening
On July 29th we unveiled our 8 brand new model homes by our 4 renowned, award winning Ontario builders: Brookfield Residential, CountryWide Homes, Geranium and Sundance Homes. Each builder showcased 2 model homes from each of their respective 36’ and 44’ detached homes collections. This special day featured a food truck vendor- Curbside Dogs, where we served hamburgers, hotdogs, poutines, macaroni salads and more for all our visitors. Rock 95 Radio station was also live on location which is one of Barrie’s most popular radio stations. Not to mention the children that came along with their parents had lots of fun as they spent their time on a bouncy castle obstacle course, getting their face painted and taking home their favourite balloon design from our balloon twister.
The unveiling of eight exquisitely designed model homes was nothing short of a visual masterpiece. Each residence stood as a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication within each builder's floor plans, showcasing their unique styles and interpretations of modern living. With their premium features and finishes, every corner was a harmonious blend of form and function.

Kempenfest

From August 5th - 7th, Midhurst Valley had a booth at Kempenfest this year. Kempenfest is Barrie's signature festival event that takes place on the beautiful waterfront of Barrie that has been celebrated for 51 years. The festival features over 300 arts and crafts vendors, a midway, youth village, antiques, face painters, buskers, great food and two stages of live music. There are approximately 200,000 visitors that attend the festival over the span of 4 days.

As Midhurst Valley is within Barrie and a part of the Springwater community, it was important for us to attend in order for us to build community engagement and good will. This year our site activation encouraged everyone to join us in colouring our Midhurst Valley branded, community wall murals for a chance to win a $500 gift card to Amazon. By doing this we were able to engage with the residents of Barrie, educate them on the homes being built, the builders, and the community overall all while providing a fun and interactive activity for all our visitors. This was a huge success and all the children who participated had a great experience.

We are excited to announce that we currently have homes in various stages of foundations, framing and interior finishes with occupancy on the way. We are looking forward to welcoming many more new homeowners to the community with our fall closings.
